-z- <br />Zoning Ordinance or that a building structure or parcel of land may lawfully be <br />employed for specific uses, or both, <br />(g) COURT - An open unoccupied space, other than a yard, 'c~rnandec: on two <br />(2) or more sides by the exterior walls of the building, or by exterior walls <br />and lot lines <br />(h) COURT-INNER - A Court not extending to a street or alley or to a <br />front or rear yard. <br />{i) C~JRT-OUTER - A court extending to a street or alley or to a front <br />or rear yard. <br />{~) COURT-WIDTH OF- The least horizontal dimension of a court at its <br />lowest level. <br />(k) CURB OR GRADE LEVEL - The elevation of the top of the curb or the <br />established curb grade opposite the center of the building or portion thereof <br />under consideration. Where no curb level has been established, she elevation <br />of the ground at the center of the traveled portion of the street in front thereof <br />shall be considered the equivalent of the curb level and where the building does <br />not adjoin the street the average elevation of the proposed grade line of the <br />ground ima-ediately adjacent to the building as shown on the building plans aha'1 <br />be considered as the curb level. <br />(1) DISTRICT.- A secticsl or sections of the City for which a uniform <br />zoning regulations as herein provided, govern the use of land, structure and <br />prs®ises, the permitted height and area of structures, and the area or open <br />spaces about buildings and structures. <br />{m) DWS~LING- a~ FAMILY - A separate, detached building designed for anc' <br />occupied exclusively as a residence for one family. <br />(n) DIuTEZLING- ZWO FAM„~~Y,- A separate, detached building designed far or <br />occupied sxcclusively as a residence for two families. <br />(o) Dom- p,~i TZP~E .» A dwelling desig~d or occupied otherwise the... <br />as a one-family dwelling or a two-family dwelling. The tee "multiple dwelling" <br />shall be understood to include apartment houses, row hoasas, garden apax~treents, <br />and all other family dwellings of simi3.ar character, where apartments or suites <br />are occupied and used as separate complete housekeeping units; but not to include <br />hotels, motels or apartment hotels. <br />(p) FAMILY - An individual living upon the premises ae a separate house-• <br />keeping unit; or a group of individuals living together upon the premises as a <br />single housekeeping unit in a domestic relationship based on birth, marriage <br />or other domestic bond. <br />
