-12- <br />Department who knowingly aids or abets another in making such false police report <br />shall be subject to charges under these rules. <br />Rule ]12. The following shall be deemed specific cause for suspension under <br />charges, of any member of the Police Department: <br />Art. 1 - For drinking any intoxicating liquor while on duty, or becoming intoxi- <br />cated, whether on or off duty. <br />Art. 2 - For drinking any kind of intoxicating liouor or engaging in any game <br />whatever in any public place while in uniform, All members who have either uniform, <br />cap, coat or overcoat on, will be considered to be in uniform. <br />Art. 3 -For being a user of intoxicating liquor to excess. . <br />Art. 4 -For being engaged, either directly or indirectly, as a vendor of intoxi- <br />cating liquor. <br />Art. 5 - For willful disobedience of any order lawfully issued to him by a superior <br />officer in the Department, <br />Art. 6 ~- For incompetency to perform the duties of his office. <br />Art. 7 - For conviction of an~T crime or misd.a~,4.;ai~or against the laws of the United <br />States or the laws of the State o~' Ohio or `o~^ oonviction of any violation o.f a <br />lawful ordinance of the City of P3~rth Olmstedo <br />Art. 8 -For making known to any person not a member of the Department, at~y pro- <br />posed action, disclosure of which might interfere with the duties of the Department. <br />Art. 9 -For unnecessary and unwarranted ;riolence to a prisoner <br />Art. 10- For cowardice or lack of energy of such character as to amount either to <br />incompetency or to gross neglect of duty. <br />Art. 11-For sleeping while on duty. <br />Art, 12- For willfully or continually triolating any of the rules or regulations <br />of the Department. <br />Art, 13-- Any officer who is garnisheed,or who fails to pay~his 3ust debts, is <br />deemed to be dishonest and will be suspended and dealt with accordingly, <br />Art, 14 For indecent profane or harsh language while on duty or in uniform, <br />Art. 15- For disrespect shown to a superior officer in the Department, <br />Art, 16- For neglect of duty. <br />Art. 17-~ For absence without leave. <br />Art. lg~ For gossiping about the affairs of the Department, <br />Art. 19- For conduct unbecoming an officer,patrolman or a gentleman. <br />Art. 20- Far conduct subversive to the good order and discipline of the department. <br />`~~,k..
