This ordinance shall be known as the "toning Ordinance." <br />' ARTICLE II <br />DEFI~NITI_ONS: For the purpose of this ordinance, certain terms and <br />words are herein defined, edords used in the present tense include the future; <br />` y, the s"i.ngular number includes the plural and the plural, the singular; the <br />words "used fort' include the Meaning "designed for"; the word "structure" <br />includes the word +'building," <br />(a) Accessory Use or building -~ A subordinate use or building cus- <br />tomarily incident to, and located on the same lot or plot with the main use <br />or building, <br />(b) ALLEY -- Ar~y roadway or public way dedicated to public use and <br />twenty (20) feet or less in width. <br />(c) BUILDING - A structure in conformity with the building code <br />requirements, designed, built, or occupied as a shelter or rooted enclosure <br />for persons, animals, or property, <br />(d) BUILDING LINE -- The line between which and the street line, <br />or lot line, no building or other structure, or portion thereof, except as <br />provided in this Ordinance, may be erected. The building Line is considered <br />a verticle surface intersecting the ground on such line. <br />(e) GERTIFICATE OF OCCUFAiVCY - A statement, signed by the Adminis- <br />trative Officer, setting forth either that a building or structure complies <br />with the Zoning Ordinance or that a building structure or parcel of land may <br />lawfully be employed for specific uses, or both. <br />
