1$. <br />Section 3. PUBLIC GARAGE - BtTSTNE3S DISTRIGTS. In any Business Aistrict <br />rrnrir r.~~~rrrr~~ i 1 <br />a Public Garage may be established, erected or enlarged, provided: <br />(a) No entrance or exit of such garage, for vehicles shall be within twe <br />hundred (200) feet of any school, playground, church,- hospital or public library, <br />or within two hundred (200) feet of any Residence District established by this <br />ordinance, (See Section 4 e 10 of Art. XIII). <br />(b) No repair facilities shall be maintained on the front portion of the <br />Iot,or in the front portion of the first story of the building within thirty (30) <br />Peet of the street, <br />(e) Any door for vehicles, opening upon a street, shall be at least fiY- <br />teen (15) feet fran the street line and an open, unoccupied apace shall be main- <br />tained between said door and the street line. The height of such opens unoccupied <br />space shall be not less than twelve (12) feet and the other dimensions shall be <br />such that no part of the structure encrcaches on the triangular area circumscribed <br />by lines joining the center of the doorway and two points on the street line, one <br />on either side of the center line of the doorway and each twelve (12)feet therefrom. <br />The aforesaid requiremnent of fifteen (15} feet may be waived and the st~- <br />trance door placed on the street line, provided the latter is of the vertical <br />rolling type and a glass window is constructed along the front of the building <br />for a distance of at least six (6) feet each side of the doorway in such manner <br />as always to make visible Prom the sidewalk any car approaching the doorway from <br />within the building. No view obstructing object shall thereafter be placed within <br />the triangular area in the building having as its base that portion of the street <br />line lying between points six (6) fast upon either side of the doorway and its <br />apex upon the center line of the doorway fifteen (15) feet from such street line. <br />Section 4. GASOLINE SERVICE STATIONS <br />(a) The premises of a Service Station sha~.l. not be located nearer than <br />200 ft. from the premises occupied by an existing church] public or private school <br />fqr children, playground, Library, or building of institutional occupancy except <br />where that distance is intersected by a street at least 60 ft. wide. <br />(b) At any garage or Service Station no fuel filling appliance shall be <br />erected within fifteen (15) feet of any street line unless such appliance is so <br />arranged that services can be given only to vehicle inside the premises. <br />ARTICLE XII <br />GII+tERAL PI~AVISIONS <br />Section 1.
