<br />r <br />ORDINANCE N0. ~ ~ o <br />AN ORDINANCE TO PROVIDE FOR THE <br />REGULATION AND CONTROL OF FRE~iISES <br />RENTED OR USED FOR ENTERTAINMENT <br />PURPOSES AND TO PROVIDE FOR <br />LICENSING OF SAME. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, <br />STATE OF OHIO: that <br />Section 1. No person, firm or corporation shall rent or lease <br />to any individual or group of individuals, or permit to be used by <br />any individual or group of individuals any hall, building, room, yard, <br />or grove for private parties, dances, entertainments, picnics or out- <br />ings without first having obtained a license from the Director of <br />Public Safety to rent, lease or use such premises for such purposes. <br />A license shall be issued to the owner for a period of one <br />year and may be issued on the payment by the owner the sum of Twenty- <br />Five Dollars ~ X25.00) . <br />Section 2. Where such license has been issued, the holder of said <br />license shall obtain from the Director of Public Safety a permit to rent <br />or permit to use the premises so licensed for each application to rent <br />or use the same by any individual or group of individuals. Such permit <br />shall be obtained from the Director of Public Safety, without charge, <br />if the use for which the permit is applied for meets with the approval <br />of said Director. All license fees shall be paid to the Treasurer of <br />the City. <br />Section 3. No intoxicating liquor shall be sold on the premises <br />rented or used as herein mentioned unless such premises hold proper <br />permits from the Ohio State Liquor Control Board to dispense intoxi- <br />cants. The owner of any premises rented or used as specified in this <br />ordinance shall not allow the use or consumption of intoxicants or <br />alcoholic beverages on such premises by persons under 21 years of age. <br />Section 4. Properly appointed inspectors and pblic~a officers <br />shall be and are hereby authorized to inspect and police any premises <br />
