The provisions of this ordinance shalh~apply to <br />places or premises used by churches affiliated churchroups, regular- <br />ly constituted and organized fraternal societies or lodges or groups <br />affiliated therewith, school or student groups under the supervision <br />of the school authorities of the City of North 0].rssted, Parent- <br />Teachers Association, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, affiliated organiza- <br />tions thereof, individuals and families in the ordinary and usual <br />manner of social entertainment in private homes, with the exception <br /> <br />that duly appointed, qualified and acting police officers shall be <br />and are hereby authorized to inspect and police premises used as <br />provided in this section for the purpose of maintaining order, pre- <br />serving peace and enforcement of law. <br />Section 6. Any violation of this ordinance shall be deemed <br />to be a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed <br />the sum of Forty-Nine Dollars (~49.00~ and costs. <br />Section ?. Ordinance No. 963,passed May 20, 1952 and en- <br />titled "An Ordinance to Frovide for the Regulation and Control of <br />Premises Rented or Used for Entertainment Purposes and to Provide for <br />Licensing of Same", be and the same is hereby repealed. <br />Section ~.
