<br />2, <br />(f) COUR2 - An open unoccupied space, other than a yard, bo~d+sci <br />on two (2) or mere sides by the e®terior walls of the building, or by <br />exterior walls and lot lines, <br />(g) COURT INNER -- A court not e~ctending to a street or alley or to <br />a front or rear yard, <br />(h) COURT-OUTER -- A court extending to a street or alley or to a <br />front .or rear yard. <br />(i) COURT-WIDTH OF -The least horizontal dimension of a court at <br />its lowest level. <br />(j) CURB OR GRADE LEVEL -The elevation of the top of the curb or <br />t>he established curb grade opposite the center of the building or portion <br />thereof under consideration, Where no curb level has been established, the <br />elevation of the ground at the center of the traveled portion of the street <br />in fmnt thereof, shall be considered the equivalent of the curb level and <br />where the building does not adjoin the street the average elevation of the <br />proposed grade line of the gmund immediately adjacent to the building as <br />shown on the building plans shall be considered as the curb level. <br />GRADE-FINISH: Elevation of ground measured at the front wall of <br />structure, when landscaping work is completed. <br />DWELLINGS;; <br />(k) ONE-FAMILY - A separate, detached building designed for and <br />occupied exclusively as a residence for one family. <br />(1) TWO-FAMILY A separate, detached building designed for or oc- <br />copied exclusively as a residence for two families. <br />(m) MULTIPLE TlWELLING3 - A dwelling designed or occupied otherwise <br />than as sons.-family dwelling or atwo-family dwellings The term "multiple <br />dwelling" shall be understood to include apartment houses, row houses, <br />garden apartments, and all other family dwellings of similar character, <br />where apartments or suites are occupied and used as separate complete ts~uae-- <br />keeping units; but not to include hotels or apartment hotels. <br />(n) FAMILY - An individual living upon the premises as a separate <br />housekeeping unit; or a group of individuals living together upon the <br />premises as a single housekeeping unit in a domestic relationship based on <br />birth, marriage or other domestic bond. <br />(o) FIAOR AREA - A floor space enclosed by exterior walls or fre- <br />walls, or by a combination of them. <br />(p) FLOOR ANNA, LIVABLE - In all cases no area shsll be considered <br />as livable floor area unless same is supported by beaws of ffitructural. <br />strh oY the k3ad rbouired by the i?u3.ld~g Code of City cif Iaortti; 03,~#.ed <br />M_ <br />~., _ ~ ....,~,..,.,......u~ ~.... <br />
