Section 40 ,PLATS All applications for building permits shall be accompanied by a plat or plot plan•in duplicates drawn to scale, showing the actual dimensions of each lot to be built upon, the si~.e and location of each building to be erected upon each lit and such other information as may be necessary to enable the Administrative Officer to determine that the proposed structure and use of land wi71 conform to the provisions of this ordinance, A record of such applications and plats shall be kept in the office of the Administrative Officer. Section 5• HUILDIN4.~P.E~IT -- C „E ~3~OG.CY (a) No excavation for foundation; nor the erection, construction of structural alteration of any structure or part of a structure, or occu- pancg ~f streets or alleys with building materials or temporary structures for construction purposes, shall be undertaken until a permit therefor shall have been issued by the Administrative Officer. No such permit shall be issued before application has been made for a Certificate of Occ. (b) No vacant land shall be occupied or used and no structure hereafter erected, structurally altered or changed in use shall be used or etsued in use until a Certificate of Occupancy shall have bean issued by the Administrative Officer. (c) A Certificate of pccupancy, either for the whole-or a part of anew building or for alteration of an existing building, shall be ap~slsd for, ,coincident with the application for a building permit and shall be issued within ten (10) days after the erection or alteration of such bu3Ld-- ing or part shall have been completed in conformity with the provisions of this Ordinance. (d) A Certificate of Occupancy for the use of occupancy of vacant land, or for a change in the use oY land, or for a change in the use of an existing building shall be applied for and issued before at~y such 3.and shell be occupied or used, or such land ar building changed in use, and such certificate shall be issued, within tan (10) days after application has been ~gade, provided such proposed use is in confor~Lty with the pr©- visions of this ordinance.
