The correctness of the data shown upon such plat shall be certified to by a licensed surveyor or engineer, and the lauds shown thereon as high-- ways shall be dedicated by the owners thereof to public highway uses. Such person shall also cause to be prepared profile maps showing the existing suz+~ face elevation and proposed grade of all highways, Such plan and profiles shall be filed with the Council, accompanied with a written application for the approval of such-plat and the acceptance of such dedications. (Sec. 1, Ord. 62, Sept, 4, 1917). Section 2, There shall also be deposited at the tinm of filing such application with the City Treasurer an amount of money sufficient, as deter- mined by Council, to cover the cost and expense of such investigation, as may be necessary to determine whether such proposed allotment or highways conr- form to the requirements of this Ordinance. The cost and expense of such preliminary investigation shall be paid by the City and deducted from such ds- posit. In case such expenditure exceeds such deposit, such excess shall be paid into the City Treasury by the applicant prior to the approval of the plat, or acceptance of the dedications, In case such deposit exceeds such expend- ture, the balance shall be refunded to the applicant. Section 3, In the making of such survey, plat, and dedication, the applicant shall observe the following requirements= (~) No intersecting street or streets between property ].Ines shall be leas than fifty (54) feet in widths (b) All dead-end highways shall have adea~te twining apace for vc3,es at the dead-end. Section 4. In ©rder to eo-ordinate the proposed allotmelttt or hi with th¢ general county plan, the plan shall be autesitted to the Plat~nfng Comadsaion of the city (See Secs. 105 and 120) and the City Bt~gineer, and his written recommendations in reference thereto shall be considered by the Cow ell before taking final action thereon.
