6, <br />' proposed highways and the djmensi,on o_° such engineering line shall be <br />indicated in feet aid: decimals of afoot. All ~snuments shall also be <br />shown. The correctness of the data shown upon such plat shall be certified <br />to by a licensed surveyor or engineer, and the lauds shown thereon as high-- <br />ways shall be dedicated by the owners thereof to public highway uses. Such <br />person shall also cause to be prepared profile maps showing the existing suz+~ <br />face elevation and proposed grade of all highways, Such plan and profiles <br />shall be filed with the Council, accompanied with a written application for <br />the approval of such-plat and the acceptance of such dedications. (Sec. 1, <br />Ord. 62, Sept, 4, 1917). <br />Section 2, There shall also be deposited at the tinm of filing such <br />application with the City Treasurer an amount of money sufficient, as deter- <br />mined by Council, to cover the cost and expense of such investigation, as <br />may be necessary to determine whether such proposed allotment or highways conr- <br />form to the requirements of this Ordinance. The cost and expense of such <br />preliminary investigation shall be paid by the City and deducted from such ds- <br />posit. In case such expenditure exceeds such deposit, such excess shall be <br />paid into the City Treasury by the applicant prior to the approval of the plat, <br />or acceptance of the dedications, In case such deposit exceeds such expend- <br />ture, the balance shall be refunded to the applicant. (Sae.2 Ord. 62, <br />Sept. 4, 1917). <br />Section 3, In the making of such survey, plat, and dedication, the <br />applicant shall observe the following requirements= <br />(~) No intersecting street or streets between property ].Ines shall be <br />leas than fifty (54) feet in widths <br />(b) All dead-end highways shall have adea~te twining apace for vc3,es <br />at the dead-end. <br />Section 4. In ©rder to eo-ordinate the proposed allotmelttt or hi <br />with th¢ general county plan, the plan shall be autesitted to the Plat~nfng <br />Comadsaion of the city (See Secs. 105 and 120) and the City Bt~gineer, and his <br />written recommendations in reference thereto shall be considered by the Cow <br />ell before taking final action thereon.
