ORUINAi~1CE ?10. 63 `~ %~~~ <br />Pa^e 2 <br />Street Commissioner $6,800.00 annually <br />Foreman of Service Department 2.25 to 2.50 per hour <br />Class A Labor 2.15 to 2.30 per hour <br />Class B Labor (Truck and Equip- <br />ment Operators? 2.2U to 2.40 per hour <br />Class C Labor 1.80 per hour <br />Class D Labor 1.25 to 1.50 per hour <br />;;~.. <br />Employees of the Service Department shall not be <br />required to work on the following holidays: New Year's Day, <br />Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving <br />Day and Christmas ay. However, said employees shall be <br />paid for an eight hour day at the regular rate for each of <br />said holidays. <br />Section 2s That Section 1 of Ordinance 61-131, <br />enacted July 10, 1962, is hereby repealed as of June 1 , 1963 <br />concurrently with the effective date of the changes herein made. <br />Section 3z That this Ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure necessary for the preservation of the <br />public peace, health, safety and welfare of the City by virtue <br />of the necessity of making the increases set forth in this amending <br />Ordinance effective on June 1 , 1963, in line with <br />negotiations over the past few months regarding said increases; <br />WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect and be in force <br />immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period <br />allowed by law. <br />~) <br />PASSED : ~ f~~'7~ <br />Bruce ~4acDonald, President of <br />Council <br />ATTEST <br />4~r~. <br />Louise Hall, Clerk o.
