CITY OF NORTH OLMiTED ORDINANCE NO. 64- ~~~ Page 2 <br />Revised Code, 5577.0' to 5577.09, inclusive, or Codified Ordinances <br />Section 339.02 and Section. 339.03, or otherwise not in conformity with <br />Codified Ordinance Chapter 337, upon any street or other public place. <br />Any such permit may be issued for a single or a round trip or, in special <br />instances, for a certain period of time. <br />The Chief of the Police Department may issue or withhold <br />such permit; or, if such permit is issued, may limit or prescribe conditions <br />of operation for such vehicle, and require bond or other security necessary <br />to compensate for any damage to a roadway or road structure . <br />;-:, <br />Every such permit shall be carried in the vehicle or <br />combination of vehicles to which it refers and shall be open to inspection <br />by any police officer or lawful authority . No person shall violate any of <br />the terms of such permit . <br />The application for any such permit shall be in such <br />form as the Chief of Police may p~acribe., No such permit shall cover <br />more than one (1) vehicle, contrivance or load or more than one (l) <br />operation. The grantee of every permit shall upon its issuance pay a <br />Ten Dollars ($10.00) fee, which shall cover the cost of a police escort <br />if one is deemed necessary by the Chief of Police. <br />Section 2. That Section 339.01, Chapter 339, Title <br />Five, of the Traffic Code (Codified Ordinances) and any Ordinance or <br />parts of Ordinances inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed effective <br />with the effective date of this ordinance . <br />Section 3. That this Ordinance is declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the preservation of the public welfare, peace , <br />health and safety of the City by virtue of the necessity of controling the <br />moving of special loads within the City of North Olmsted and furnishing <br />police escorts for same; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest <br />period allowed by law . <br />PASSED ~J ~ , ~ ~ ~ `~' <br />t <br />Francis J.
