CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 64 ~--~/„~ BY~ V AN ORDINANCE DETERMINING TO PROCEED WITH THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS ON SUNDRY STREETS IN THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED WHERE SUCH SID£WWALKS WERE NOT CONSTRUCTED BY THE ABUTTING OWNERS IN COMPLIANCE WITH WRITTEN NOTICE AS PROVIDED IN RESOLUTIONS NOS. 64-151 AND 64-153, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, by Resolution Nos. 64-151 and 64-153, enacted July 7, 1964, this Council determined the necessity of installing sidewalks on certain streets, or portions thereof, in the City of North Olmsted; and WHEREAS, all owners of lots and lands abutting on said streets, or portions thereof, were served with notice of the passage of said resolutions and certain of said owners have not constructed sidewalks in the required period after receipt of said notice and Council has determined to proceed to construct said sidewalks and after the construction thereof, to assess the entire cost upon the property of each defaulting owner, all as provided in Resolution Nos. 64-151 and 64-153; and WHEREAS, the Director of Public Service has certified to the Council that $70, 900.00 of said sidewalks have not been constructed as required by Resolution No. s 64-151 and 64-153. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio;- Section 1: That this Council hereby determines to proceed with the construction of sidewalks in the amount of $70, 900.00 on those street or portions thereof, set forth in Resolution No. 64-~51, to wit: 1. Stearns Road from Olmsted Township to Lorain Road 2. McKenzie Road from Olmsted Township to Lorain Road 3. Kennedy Ridge Road from Butternut Ridge Road to Great Northern Boulevard 4. Columbia Road (west side) from Butternut Ridge to a connection of existing sidewalks in the area of Columbia Road and Mastick Road 5. The unsidewalked portions of the south side of Maple Ridge Road east of Walter Road to Claque Road. 6. The unsidewalked are on the south side of Lorain Road from a point east of Barton Road easterly to the Fairview Park line . 7. The portions of Coe Avenue north of Elm Read that do not have sidewalks and on those streets or portions thereof, set forth in Resolution No. 64-153, to wit: 8. The west side of Columbia Road from Mitchell Drive north to Lorain Road where such sidewalks have not been constructed by the owners of lots and lands abutting thereon within the required period after receipt of notice of the passage of Resolution Nos. 64-151 and 64-153. ..wew±r MV'.
