CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 64- ~/ Page 2 <br />Section 2 That the Director of Public Service be and he <br />is authorized to advertise for bids for the construction of sidewalks in accordance <br />with the provisions of Resolution No. 64-151 and 64-153, where such sidewalks <br />have not been constructed by the abutting property owners, as shown on his <br />certificate heretofore filed and in accordance with the plans and specifications <br />now on file in the office of the Clerk of Council and the office of the Director <br />or Public Service, <br />Section 3: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized <br />to contract for the construction of the aforesaid sidewalks after the receipf of <br />` bids and the award by the Board of Control to the lowest and best bidder, and the <br />improvement shall be financed as provided in the Resolution of Necessity. <br />Section 4: That the Clerk of Council is hereby directed <br />to deliver a certified copy of this Ordinance to the County Auditor within <br />fifteen (15) days after its passage. <br />Section 5: That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, <br />health, safety and welfare by virtue of the need for such sidewalks to permit <br />safe passage by persons using such streets and eliminating existing hazards to <br />pedestrians; WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from <br />and immediately after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br />PASSED: ~5~~ <br />~~ ~ ~ ti ~ ~ ~ <br />Francis J.
