In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments of the longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for part-time services but such limitation is only for the purpose of computing longevity increments and the exclusion of part-time service shall not deprive any employees of any other benefits which may be due them for part-time service as employees in either Safety Department. In addition to the regular base salary plus increment and other wage increases , all regular employees of the Police Department, including officers shall, on their original appointment and during the first calendar year during their appointment, receive $175.00 clothing allowance and shall, during each calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $150.00 to be determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Police Chief of the Department . For each full time member of the Police Department (excluding auxiliary police and school guards), the City of North Olmsted shall pay the sum of $7.25 per month toward the total cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization premiums of said members of the Police Force. Full time employes of the Police Department having completed five years of full time continuous service as employ~;es of said department shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary thereafter until completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which` such employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary thereafter until the completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter 5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the 20th year of continuous full time service and during each year of full time service thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity increments.
