CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 64-~ Page 4 <br />In addition to the regular base salary plus increment and other <br />wage increases, all regular employees of the Fire : Department, <br />including officers, shall, on their original appointment and <br />during the first calendar year during their appointment, receive <br />$175.00 clothing allowance and shall, during each calendar year <br />thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $150.00 to be <br />determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Fire <br />Chief of the Department. <br />For each full time member of the Fire Department, the City of <br />"~"` North Olmsted shall pay the sum of $7,2:"per month towards <br />the total cost of Blue Cross Hospitalization premiums of said <br />members of the Fire Department ." <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 2: That effective November 1, 1964, the base salaries of <br />members of the Fire Department are herby fixed and determined to be as follows: <br />Fire Chief $ 7, 800.00 annually <br />Assistant Fire Chief 7,400.00 annually <br />Fire Lieutenant 6,900.00 annually <br />Firemen for First Year 5, 500.00 annually <br />Firemen for Second Year 5, 900.00 annually <br />Firemen after Second Year 6, 500.00 annually <br />Part-time Firemen 1.75 per hour <br />which salaries shall be payable by the Director of Finance semi-monthly. <br />Full time employees of the Fire Department having completed five <br />years of full time continuous service as employees of said department <br />shall be paid an additional 3% of their base annual salary thereafter until <br />completion of the tenth year of continuous full time service, after which such <br />employees shall receive 4% of their base annual salary thereafter until the <br />completion of the 15th year of continuous full time service, and thereafter <br />5% of their base annual salary until after the completion of the 20th year of <br />continuous full time service and during each year of full time service <br />thereafter they shall receive 6% of their base annual salary as longevity <br />increments . <br />In computing length of service for the purpose of making payments <br />of the longevity increments hereinabove set forth, no credit shall be given for <br />part-time service bit: such limitation is only for the purpose of computing <br />longevity increments and the exclusion for part-time service shall not deprive <br />service as employees of either Safety Department. <br />In additon to the regular base salary plus increment and other wage <br />increases, all regular employees of the Fire Department, including officers <br />shall, on their original appointment and during the first calendar year <br />during their appointment, receive $175.00 clothing allowance and shall, during <br />each calendar year thereafter, receive a clothing allowance of $150.00 to be <br />determined and disbursed by and with the approval of the Fire Chief of the <br />Department <br />For each full time member of the Fire Department, the City of <br />North Olmsted shall pay the sum of $7.25 per month toward the total cost of Blue <br />Cross Hoppitalization premiums of said members of the Fire Department. <br />.. _ ,,. _. ,.. ~m.~ <br />
