s - a~_ <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~ -/ g <br />BY <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 2, OF ORDINANCE <br />NO. 3075, ENACTED JULY 19, 1960, WHICH ORDINANCE <br />AMENIIED SECTION 2, OF ORDINANCE 2308, ENACTED JUNE <br />19, 1956, AND FURTHER AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE <br />2308, ENACTED JUNE 19, 1956, "ENTITLED AN ORDINANCE <br />FIX[NG THE COMPENSATION OF INSPECT©RS OF STREET IMPROVE- <br />MENTS IN NEWLY DEDICATED STREETS IN ALLOTMENTS, " AND <br />FURTHER ESTABLISHING THE POSITION OF CHIEF INSPECTOR AT <br />AN INCREASED COMPENSATION, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, under the Ordinances of this, it is required of a <br />developer that all improvements within a subdivision conform to the ordinances <br />of this city, and <br />WHEREAS, Council wishes to have all improvements to conform <br />to the ordinances of this city, and <br />WHEREAS, the inspectors of the city have increased in number:: <br />to the extent that a Chief Inspector is now necessary in order to have an <br />efficiently operating inspecting department to accomplish the above purposes, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that the rate of development within the <br />city will require the addition of more inspectors in the future. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the council of the City of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1: There is hereby created the position of Chief <br />Inspector within the Inspecting Department of the City of North Olmsted, whose <br />duties shall consist of supervising the work of City Inspectors and the furnishing <br />of progress reports and inspection reports to the proper city department. <br />Section 2: That Section 1 of Ordinance 2308, enacted June <br />19, 1956 reading as follows: <br />"That from and after the effective date of this Ordinance the <br />compensation of said inspectors shall be from $1.50 to $3.00 <br />per hour. " <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />That .from and after the effective date of this Ordinance the <br />compensation of said inspectors shall be from $1.50 to $3.00 per hour, <br />except the Chief Inspector who shall receive $3.25 per hour. <br />Section 3: That Section 2 of Ordinance 2308 enacted June 19, <br />1956, as amended by Ordinance No. 3075, enacted July 19, 1960, and reading <br />as follows: <br />"Section 2: The Mayor shall appoint Inspectors for the purposes <br />of inspecting all street ~ improvements whether in dedicated <br />streets or in allotments for which Plats and Plans have been <br />approved by the Planning Commission of this City, and Council <br />which show certain areas set aside for street purposes which <br />lands for street purposes are to be improved in accordance with <br />,~~..~~,r,,., _ ._,... ~ ..,_ .. ~_ _..,.._ . .. <br />~. _ .r_ . <br />I <br />
