CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. ~ ~-l J PAGE 2 <br />the requirements of the ordinances of this City, and when so <br />improved, are found acceptable for dedication, and their <br />compensation shall be fixed as provided in Section 1 of Ordinance <br />2308. Such improvements of streets include the installation of <br />paving, curbs, gutters, storm sewers, water lines and sidewalk <br />and may include the installation of a sanitary sewer if, in the <br />opinion of the Planning Commission and Council, a developer <br />of a new subdivision is required to install the same in lands to be <br />improved for street purposes but not yet dedicated, excluding, <br />however, the installation of sanitary sewers in streets already <br />dedicated, which inspection of such installation to be required <br />but to be covered specifically at the time legislation is enacted <br />for such improvements in already dedicated streets, highways, <br />thoroughfares, alleys and/or courts . " <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 2: The Mayor shall appoint a Chief Inspector for <br />the purpose of supervising the work of city inspectors and shall appoint inspectors <br />for the purposes of inspecting all street improvements whether in dedicated <br />streets or in allotments for which Plats and Plans have been approved by the <br />Planning Commission of this City, and Council, which show certain areas set <br />aside for street purposes which lands for street purposes are to be improved in acco: <br />ance with the requirements of the ordinances of this city, and when so irnproved, <br />are found acceptable for dedication, Such improvements of streets include <br />the installation of paving, curbs, gutters, storm sewers, water lines and side- <br />walk and may include the installation of a sanitary sewer if, in they cspinion of <br />the Planning Commission and Council, a developer of a new subdivision is <br />required to install the same in lands to be improved for street purposes but not <br />yet dedicated, excluding, however, the installation of sanitary sewers in streets <br />already dedicated, which inspection bfi such installation to be required but to <br />be covered specifically at the time legislation is enacted for such improvements <br />in already dedicated streets, highways, thoroughfares, alleys and/or courts. <br />Section 4: That Section 1 of Ordinance 2308, and Section 1 & 2 <br />of Ordinance 3075 , and any other Ordinance or parts of ordinances inconsistent <br />with this ordinance are hereby repealed with the effective date of this ordinance. <br />Section 5: That this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure by virtue of the fact that the city's building program is so large that <br />the position of Chief Inspector is necessary for the protection of the health and <br />welfare of the citizens of North Olmsted, WHEREFORE, this Ordinance shall take <br />effect immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed <br />by law . <br />PASSED: <br />..~ 4 <br />a: a <br />Francis J.
