CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION No,64-,=~- <br />BY ~ ~ )~ ~,Y K,1L <br />A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION N0. 64-163 <br />ENACTED July 14, 19:64 ENTITLED "A RESOLUTION <br />DECLARING THE NECESSITY FOR AN ADDITIONAL <br />TAX LEVY FOR PROVIDING FOR CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS <br />AND SITE PURCHASE FOR RFBREATIONAL PURPOSES" <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State <br />of Ohio: <br />Section 1: That Section 1 of Resolution No. 64-163 <br />enacted July 14, 1964 reading as follows: <br />"Section 1: It is hereby found and declared that the <br />amount of taxes which may be raised by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, by levies at the maximum rates within the <br />ten mill limitation on the current tax list and duplicate will be <br />insuff icient to provide an adequate amount for the necessary <br />requirements of this City, and it is necessary to levy a tax in <br />excess of such limitation for capital improvements and site pur- <br />chase for recreational purposes at the rate of five-tenths mills <br />(.5 mills) for a period of five years." <br />be and ;is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 1. It is hereby found and declared that the <br />amount of taxes which may be raised by the City of North Olmsted, <br />Cuyahoga County, Ohio, by levies at the maximum, rates within the <br />ten mill limitation on the current tax list and duplicate will be <br />insufficient to provide an adequate amount for the necessary <br />requirements of this City, and it is necessary to levy a tax in <br />excess of such limitation for recreational purposes at the rate of <br />five-tenths mills (.5 mills) for a period of five years. <br />and that Section 3 of Resolution No. 64-163 enacted July 14, 1964 <br />read~.ng as follows <br />"Section 3, That the form of ballots to be cast at such <br />election shall be as follows: <br />A majority affirmative vote is necessary for passage. <br />An additional tax for the benefit of the City of North <br />Olmsted for capital improvements and site purchase for recreational <br />purposes at a rate not exceeding five-tenths mills (.5 mills) for <br />each ddlar of valuation, which amounts to fi4e cents (5~) for each <br />one hundred dollars of valuation for five (5) years. <br />FOR THE TAX LEVY . <br />.
