ORDINANCE No. 64 ~~a <br />Page <br />'Section ~: That the City of North Olmsted <br />accept from The Standard Oil Company of Ohio a perpetual <br />easement over the parcel of land described by metes <br />and bounds in Ordinance 62-152 and designated therein <br />as Parcel No. ~ f or sidewalk, road and municipal pnr- <br />poses. <br />Section ~: That the City of North Olmsted <br />assume: <br />(a) The cost of recording said perpetual ease- <br />ment. <br />(b) All taxes and assessments for the year 19b2 <br />and thereafter. <br />Cc) The entire cost of installing sidewalks on <br />said land and over the remaining portion <br />of land of The Standard Oil Company of <br />Ohio abutting on Whitethorn Avenue. <br />Section 3: That the Director of Finance be <br />and he is hereby authorized to pay the items set forth <br />in Section 2 hereof and charge the same to the City's <br />Portion of Sidewalks Fund. <br />Section 4: That Ordinance 62-163, enacted <br />October 16, 1962, in its entirety, is hereby repealed. <br />Section 5: That this Ordinance is hereby de- <br />termined to be an emergency measure necessary for the pre- <br />servation of the public health, safety and welfare and <br />that such emergency exists by virtue of the necessity of <br />widening Whitethorn Avenue in order to install sidewalks <br />therein to protect pedestrians, expecially school children, <br />from the hazards of traffic; WHBREFORE, this Ordinance <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed by law." <br /> <br />PASSED: _~ - <br />Franc s J.
