ra ORDINANCE N0: 64 - 9 INTRODUCED BY: c~. AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS OFFICE AND PROFESSIONAL HI-RISE USE DISTRICTS AS SUPPLEMENTAL USES TO THE PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE N0. 62-33, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND AMENDING SECTIONS THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR SUCH USES, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the Council have heretofore recommended for passage, an ordinance commonly known as Hi-Rise Ordinance, and WHEREAS, it is the purpose hereof to provide standards to regulate such land use. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: SECTION 1. After thirty (30) days, notice of which has been given pursuant to the requirements of Ordinance 62-33, the Zoning Code, Ordinance No. 62-33 shall be amended and supplemented as hereinafter provided. SECTION 2. Chapter 1125 of Ordinance No. 62-33 be and is hereby supplemented as follows: Hi-Rise 6uilding A building or structure having a height of at least 50 feet and not exceeding 200 feet. SECTION 3. Section 1141.01 of Ordinance No. 62-33, entitled Districts, which reads: For the purpose of the Zoning Code, the municipality is hereby divided into use districts as provided in Sections 1141.01 to 1204.09 of the Zoning Code. be and is hereby amended to read as follows: For the purpose of the Zoning Code, the municipality is hereby divided into use districts as provided in Sections 1141.01 to 1205.11. SECTION 4. Section 1141.08 of Ordinance No. 62-33, entitled Districts Listed, which reads: The municipality is hereby divided into eleven use districts, all of which are designated on the Zone Map by appropriate symbols or marking, which districts shall be known, in order of restrictiveness, beginning with the most restrictive, as: A Residence District Cluster Development in A Residence District B Residence District C Residence District Two-Family Residence District Mutiple Residence District Local Retail Business District ~~,,~ General Retail Business District House Trailer District Limited Industry District Mixed Use District be and is hereby amended to read as follows: The municipality is hereby divided into thirteen use districts, all of which are designated on the Zone Map by appropriate symbols or marking, which districts shall be known, in order of restrictiveness, except for Hi-Rise Classes, beginning with the most restrictive, as: ...., . .
