ra <br />ORDINANCE N0: 64 - 9 <br />INTRODUCED BY: c~. <br />AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR RESIDENTIAL AND BUSINESS OFFICE AND <br />PROFESSIONAL HI-RISE USE DISTRICTS AS SUPPLEMENTAL USES TO THE <br />PROVISIONS OF ORDINANCE N0. 62-33, THE ZONING ORDINANCE, AND <br />AMENDING SECTIONS THEREOF TO PROVIDE FOR SUCH USES, AND DECLARING <br />AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and the Council have heretofore recommended <br />for passage, an ordinance commonly known as Hi-Rise Ordinance, and <br />WHEREAS, it is the purpose hereof to provide standards to regulate such land <br />use. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of North Olmsted, <br />State of Ohio: <br />SECTION 1. After thirty (30) days, notice of which has been given pursuant to <br />the requirements of Ordinance 62-33, the Zoning Code, Ordinance No. 62-33 shall be <br />amended and supplemented as hereinafter provided. <br />SECTION 2. Chapter 1125 of Ordinance No. 62-33 be and is hereby supplemented <br />as follows: <br />Hi-Rise 6uilding <br />A building or structure having a height of at least 50 feet and <br />not exceeding 200 feet. <br />SECTION 3. Section 1141.01 of Ordinance No. 62-33, entitled Districts, which <br />reads: <br />For the purpose of the Zoning Code, the municipality is hereby <br />divided into use districts as provided in Sections 1141.01 to <br />1204.09 of the Zoning Code. <br />be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />For the purpose of the Zoning Code, the municipality is hereby <br />divided into use districts as provided in Sections 1141.01 to <br />1205.11. <br />SECTION 4. Section 1141.08 of Ordinance No. 62-33, entitled Districts Listed, <br />which reads: <br />The municipality is hereby divided into eleven use districts, all of <br />which are designated on the Zone Map by appropriate symbols or <br />marking, which districts shall be known, in order of restrictiveness, <br />beginning with the most restrictive, as: <br />A Residence District <br />Cluster Development in A Residence District <br />B Residence District <br />C Residence District <br />Two-Family Residence District <br />Mutiple Residence District <br />Local Retail Business District <br />~~,,~ <br />General Retail Business District <br />House Trailer District <br />Limited Industry District <br />Mixed Use District <br />be and is hereby amended to read as follows: <br />The municipality is hereby divided into thirteen use districts, all of <br />which are designated on the Zone Map by appropriate symbols or <br />marking, which districts shall be known, in order of restrictiveness, <br />except for Hi-Rise Classes, beginning with the most restrictive, as: <br />...., . . <br />
