Section 6. The Trustees shall in all respects and at their sole ex- <br />pease maintain the Librsry Building and grounds in good condition, repair, and <br />a <br />state of cleanliness, and shall make all repairs and replacements as necessary; <br />provided that the Trustees shall make no structural changes of the Library Build- <br />ing except with the prior written consent of the City. <br />Section 7. The City reserves the right to, and shall, landscape the <br />grounds. <br />Section $. The Trustees shall make available to the City, upon its <br />request, up to 120 square feet of suitable space in the Library Building outside <br />of reading rooms for display of museum pieces, artifacts and objects of public <br />interest relating to the history and development of the City. <br />Section 9. The meeting room in the Library Building shall be made <br />available to use by organizations and the public under general regulations of <br />the Trustees relating to meeting rooms in its libraries. Such meeting rooms <br />shall be reserved for use by the City each Thursday or such other day as may be <br />from time to time agreed upon by the parties, for municipal functions or func- <br />tions sponsored by the City, sub,~ect to the general rules and hours established. <br />by the Trustees and sub,~ect to change of such reservation day by mutual agree- <br />meat. <br />Section 10. Annually, on or before the first day of April, the <br />~r Trustees shall give to the City a Written annual report of the opexations of the <br />Library during the preceding calendax year, setting forth the approximate nu~aber <br />of volumes in use in the library at the close of said year, the number acquired <br />during said year, and the cost of said books; the number of personnel at the <br />library and the approximate number of hours worked by them during said year; the <br />nature of any repair work done on the Library Building and the cost thereof to <br />the Trustees; the scheduled number of hours the library Was open to the public <br />during said year; the total number of hooka borrowed on a circulating basis dur- <br />ing such year; such other information as the Trustees may deem appropriate to <br />an understanding of the operation of the library during said year; and such other <br />information as the City may reasonably request.
