«- <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO, 65-~~~_ <br />BY <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO SUBMIT TO THE <br />ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED THE <br />QUESTION OF AMENDING THE ZONE MAP ADOP'T'ED AS <br />PART OF ORDINANCE NO. 62-33 (KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED) BY <br />CHANGING THE DESIGNATION THEREON OF CERTAIN <br />LANDS FROM ITS PRESENT DESIGNATION AS GENERAL <br />BUSINESS DISTRICT AND MULTIPLE RESIDENCE <br />DISTRICT TO CLASS "A" HI-RISE DISTRICT(RESIDENTIAI <br />AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, zoning changes are subject to referendum under <br />the laws of the State of Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, a referendum petition signed by more than ten <br />per cent (10%) of the total electors voting at the last regular municipal election <br />all according to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted, was filed with the <br />Council, and <br />WHEREAS, the petition filed with Council requested that <br />ordinance No. 65-43 entitled "AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONE MAP <br />ADOPTED AS PART OF THE ORDINANCE NO. 62 -33 (KNOWN AS THE <br />ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED) BY CHANGING THE <br />DESIGNATION THEREON OF CERTAIN LANDS FROM ITS PRESENT <br />DESIGNATION THEREON AS GENERAL BUSINESS DISTRICT AND MULTIPLE <br />RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO CLASS "A" HI-RISE (RESIDENTIAL), " be <br />repealed or submitted to a vote of the electors, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has determined and <br />certified that the petition is sufficient, and <br />WHEREAS, as Council has determined ~at it would be to the <br />best interest of the citizens of the City of North Olmsted that the changes in <br />zoning determined and passed June 1, 1965 by Council in Ordinance No. 65-43 <br />be submitted to the electors at the next general election. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1; That Council hereby determine to submit to the <br />. electors of the City of North Olmsted the question of amending the Zone Map <br />adopted as pa rt of Ordinance No. 62 -33 (known as the Zoning Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted) by changing the designation thereon of certain lands <br />described as follows: <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, Canty of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio and being known as part of Original. Dover <br />Township Lot Nos. 20 and 30, bounded and deribed as follows: <br />Beginning on the center line of Lorain Road 80 feet wide <br />at the most Easterly corner of 7. 13 acres of land aparted and set <br />off to Francis Witham in the partition of the Jermiah Witham Es- <br />tates as recorded in Volume 152 Page 497 of the Cuyahoga <br />A~., County Common Pleas Records. <br />Thence, South 51 ° 57' West along the centerline, of I.,orain <br />Road 13.93 fEyet: to a point; <br />
