,~.., <br />1 <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />RESOLUTION NO. 65- ~~ `~~ <br />BY <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION DETERMINING TO SUBMIT TO THE <br />ELECTORS OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED THE <br />QUESTION OF AMENDING THE ZONE MAP ADOPTED <br />AS PART OF ORDINANCE NO. 62-33 (KNOWN AS <br />THE ZONING CODE OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED) <br />BY CHANGING THE DESIGNATION THEREON OF <br />CERTAIN LANDS FROM ITS PRESENT DESIGNATION AS A <br />MIXED ~JSE DISTRICT TO CLASS "A" HI-RISE DISTRICT <br />(RESIDENTIAL) AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY. <br />WHEREAS, zoning changes are subject to referendum under <br />the laws of the State of Ohio, and <br />WHEREAS, a referendum petition signed by more than ten per <br />cent (1O%) of the total electors voting at the last regular municipal election <br />all according to the Charter of the City of North Olmsted was filed with the <br />Council, and <br />WHEREAS, the petition filed with Council requested that Ordinance <br />No. 65-2~ entitled ''AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONE MAP ADOPTED <br />AS PART OF ORDINANCE IVO. 62-33 (KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE <br />OF THE CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED, BY CHANGING THE DESIGNATION <br />THEREON OF CERTAIN LANDS HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED BY MF,TES AND <br />BOUNDS FROM ITS PRESENT DESIGNATION THEREON AS A MIXED USE <br />DISTRICT TO CLASS "A" HI-RISE DISTRICT (RESIDENTIAL}. " be repealed <br />or submitted to a vote of the electors, and <br />WHEREAS, the Clerk of Council has determined 8: certified <br />that the petition is sufficient, and <br />WHEREAS, Council has determined that it would be to the best <br />interest of the Citizens of the City of North Olmsted that the changes in <br />zoning determined and passed June 1, 1965 by Council in Ordinance No. 65-23 <br />be submitted to the electors at the next general election. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1; That Council hereby hereby determine to submit to the <br />electors of the City of North Olmsted the question of amending the Zone Map <br />adopted as part of Ordinance No. 62 -33 (known as the Zoning Code of the <br />City of North Olmsted) by changing the designation thereon of certain lands <br />described as follows; <br />Situated in the City of North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga <br />and State of Ohio and known as being part of Original <br />Olmsted Township Lot No. 30, Tract 6, b'bunded and described <br />as follows: <br />
