1 .• CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED ORDINANCE NO. 65 - ~ .~ BY_~ ~ ~ AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 313.03 OF THE NORTH OLMSTED TRAFFIC CODE, ENTITLED "TRAFFIC- CONTROL SIGNAL TERMS AND LIGHTS, " AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY, ~' WHEREAS, Council has determined that it is to the best interes~: of the City of North Olmsted that the Traffic Code be reviewed to eliminate any conflicts with provisions of the State Uniform Traffic Act. NOYJ-i, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED '~y the Council of the City of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: Section 1: That Section 313.03 of the North Olmsted Traffic Code, reading as follows: "313.03 TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL TERMS AND LIGHTS. Whenever traffic is controlled by traffic cantral signals exhibiting the words "go" , "caution" , or "stop" , or exhibiting different colored lights successively one at a time, or controlled with arrows, the following colors only shall be used and .the terms ~:n.d lights shall indicate and apply to operators of vehicles and pedestrians as follows: (a) Green alone or "go" signal: {1) Pedestrians facing the signal may proceed across the roadway within any marked or unmarked crosswalk; (2) All other traffic facing the signal except as provided. under Section 331.09 may proceed straight throucih o turn right or left, unless a sign at such place prohibits either such turn. But suer, traffic shall yield the rigz~r of way to vehicles lawfully within the intersection gin- to pedestrians lawfully within a crosswall: at the ~i~r such signal is exhibited.
