<br />t <br />• <br /> <br />CITY OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />ORDINANCE NO. 66-~ 7~ PAGE 3 <br />Section 2: That the City Engineer shall be appointed by the Mayor <br />subject to confirmation by a majority vote of Council at an annual salary of <br />$13, 000.00, effective November 1, 1966. <br />Section 3: The engineer or any of his employees shall not engage in <br />any engineering services for private developers who are developing areas in the <br />City of North Olmsted or any areas which abut the areas of the City of North <br />Olmsted or who have just completed developing areas in the City of North <br />Olmsted within a period of one (1) year from the date said engineer severs <br />services with the City of North Olmsted, unless said engineer receives permission, <br />in writing, from a committee composed of the Mayor, President of Council, <br />Director of Finance , Director of Public Service and Public Safetq and the Director <br />of Law. Said committee shall act upon any request to perform the prohibitive <br />services within 30 days after receiving a written request from the engineer. <br />Section ~: That this Ordinance is hereby determined to be a emerge~pcy <br />measure necessary for the preservation of the public peace, health, safety and <br />welfare of the City by virtue of the necessity of making said position and salary <br />effective November 1, 1966, WHEREFORE, this ordinance shall take effect and be <br />in i~orre immediately upon its passage, otherwise, at the earliest period allowed <br />by law . <br />e <br />PASSED; 1 v I ~ ~ ~- <br />ATTEST: <br />w <br /> <br />~.] <br />Margaret T.
