6 <br />Ordinance <br />Mr. <br />An Ordinance <br />To provide for -the payment to the Clerk'of fines,in minor offenses under the <br />traffic .laws`. +'. <br />Be it ordaindd'by the Council of the V illsee of -North Olmsted, County of <br />Cuyahoga end State of Ohios- <br />Section 1. ' Wherever in the opinion of the arresting officer and the Cler <br />Of the Village it will be proper for a person arrested for minor offense under . <br />the traffic laws to'pay a sum to the Clerk instead of appearing in the Mayor's <br />court, such officer shall take such personrarrested to the office of the Clerk <br />of the Village and. allow ditch person to pay to the Clerk the sum fixed as <br />hereinafter set forth and allow such person to goat liberty providing such <br />person so arrested shall sign a waived as hereinafter provided. <br />Section 2. The Mayor from time to tame. shall instruct the Clerk in what <br />cases he may receive such payment in lieu`of atrial and such Clerk may at all <br />times refuse to receive such payment if in his opinion the person so arrested <br />should be brought to trial before the Mayor* <br />Section 3.' Before such person shall be allowed to make such payment to <br />the Clerk such person shall sign a waiver in the following form to wit: - <br />"State of Ohio, <br />Cuyahoga County, s as. <br />Village of North Olmsted, ) <br />I, , the undersigned, having been arrested <br />for the v o a ion or ec on of the ordinances of the Village <br />of North Olmsted,, hereby waive tr3al , jury and waive all rights which <br />I have or might have by reason'of having been arrested in said Village <br />and waive all right of appeal and error. <br />n <br />S mature. <br />Section 4. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and <br />after the earliest period allowed by law. <br />Read the first time Is 1928. <br />I, E.
