<br />under the franchises and privileges of Ordinance No. 53 passed F
<br />by. the Council of the Village of North Olmsted on the 5th day of
<br />August, 191'59 are and shall continue in force until the expira-
<br />tion of this ordinance; it being understood, hoard -ver, that before
<br />any street mains are laid or installed, a plat or map thereof
<br />shall be submitted to the Building Department of said Village
<br />shorting the location of such proposed street mains, end said
<br />plat shall be subject to the approval of said Building Depart«
<br />men t. "
<br />SECTION 2. That Section 2 of said Ordinance No. 112 passed
<br />®n the 3d day of June, 1924, and entitled as fully set forth
<br />above, be and the same is hereby amended to reas as follows:
<br />"SECTION 2. The maximum p rice which the Gas Company
<br />shall be permitted to charge for, and the minimum price
<br />at -e iiah i t shall be required to furnish natural gas only
<br />to said Village and its inhabitants for and during the
<br />pest =iod beginning May 19 1928, and ending at midnight April
<br />30, 1930, shall be and the same is hereby fixed for each
<br />individual consumer as follows:.
<br />For the first 10,000 cu. ft. or any part thereof, per
<br />month, 60 f1per 1,000 cu. ft,
<br />For the next 10,000 cu f t. or any part thereof, per monthim
<br />70 9 p er 1, 000 cu . f t.
<br />For al.l over 20,000 cu. ft. per month, 85 Uper 1,000 .cu.ft.
<br />payable on the 20th day of each month or such other date
<br />or dates as may be established by Gas Company for the matu
<br />ity of bills in said Village, or any part thereof, at the
<br />Main Office of Gas Company -,in the City of Cleveland, Ohio,
<br />or at such branch collection agency or agencies as said
<br />Gas ComparW may establish therefor in the City of Cleveland
<br />or Village of North Olmsted, subject .however in the case o
<br />each bill which shall be paid - within ten (10) days after the
<br />twentieth day of the month in which gas is used, or such
<br />other date or dates of maturit as may be established them _
<br />for, to a discount of five (5,d cents per one thousand
<br />(1,000) cubic feet; and in addition to the above rates,
<br />each consumer shall pay as a service change, the sum of
<br />sixty ( 60X) cents per meter per month, payable on the same
<br />date or dates as hereinablve set forth. It is further pro-
<br />vided that if any whenever during the life of this ordi-
<br />nance the State of Ohio and / or the State of West Virginia
<br />shall levy, assess, impose or charge a transmission, pro..
<br />duction and/ or transportation tax upon or in respect of
<br />natural gas produced iiz or transmitted from said States,
<br />then the aggregate amount of such increased cost as pro -
<br />rated. and accrued monthly against the natural gas sold to
<br />consumers of natural gas within the Village of North Olm-
<br />sted, shall be paid for by such consumers the Bill for
<br />the subsequent month in the form of a supplementary charge
<br />which shall be determined by spreading the additional cost
<br />over the Able quantity of natural gas delivered to con -
<br />sumers supplied by Gas Company during the month in question
<br />and then applying the resulting rate per 3.000 cu. ft. to
<br />the consumption of each consumer."
<br />SECTION 3, That Section 8 of said Ordinance TTo, .112, passe
<br />on the 3d day of June, 194; and entitled as fully sat forth abOv
<br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows:..:
<br />"SECTION 8. This ordinance is to continue .in force
<br />and effect until midnight April 30, 1930, and thereupon
<br />all rights of said Gas Company to occupy the streets,
