Thousand Four. Hundred <br />ai <br />Eighteen and 20/100 Dollars ($8418.20), as reported.to this council on.the <br />j. <br />day of March, 19270 by the Village Engineer, notice of the filing of which <br />is heroby.adopted <br />1 <br />assessment has been given as.required.by law, be and the same <br />and.confirmed, and that thero.be and is. hereby levied upon the lots and lands <br />{ <br />bounding and abutting upon . said improvements the . several amounts ; reported as <br />aforesaid which assessments, together with the description of said lots and <br />' <br />lands, are now on file in .the office of the Clerk of this Councils end .which <br />assessments are'at the rate of $2.31 per front foot, end are not in exoess,of <br />the special benefits to said property. <br />Section 2. That.the. total assessment against each lot or parcel of land <br />shall be payable in cash within thirty days from and after.the passage of this <br />1 <br />ordinance, or, at the'option.of the owners, `in five (5) annual installments <br />with interest at the rate of five and'one -half (6•.1j2%) per cent per annum. <br />1►11 cash payments shall be made to the treasurer of. said Village. 1.11 assess <br />r=ents and installments thereof.remaining unpaid at.the expiration of said <br />thirty days shall be eortified,by the Clerk of this'Council.to the County <br />Auditor, as;prbvided by.laws.to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and col <br />- <br />lected as other.taxes are collected. <br />Section 3.
