<br />An Ordinance.
<br />To levy special assessments for.the improvement of that portion of Uaple
<br />Ridge Road which lies in North Olmsted Village from Hall Road T asterly to.
<br />Clague Road by grading, draining and slagging same•
<br />Be it ordained by the Council of the.Village of North Olmsted, County j
<br />of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio : -
<br />Section 1• That the assessment of the cost and expense of improving
<br />Maple Ridge Road for that portion which lies in North Olmsted Village from
<br />Hall Road Easterly to Clague Road by grading, draining and slagging, same.,
<br />amounting in the aggregate to Ei ht Thousand Nine Ri dred Seventy"Six' and
<br />21%100 Dollars (08,976.21) as reorted to this council on-the 5th day of
<br />May, 19260 by the Village Engineer., notice of the filing of which assessment
<br />been given as required by law, be and the sane is hereby adopted and confirms
<br />and that there be and is hereby levied upon the lots and lands bounding and
<br />abutting upon said improvement, the several amounts reported as aforesaid,
<br />which assessments, together with the description of said lots and lands, are
<br />now on file in the office of the clerk of this council, and which assessments
<br />are at the rate of $1.162727 per front foot, and are not in excess of the
<br />special benefits to.said property.
<br />Section 20 That the total assessment against each lot or parcel of land
<br />shall be payable in cash within thirty days from and after the passage of this
<br />ordinance, or, at the option of the owners, in five (5) annual installments
<br />vrith interest at the rate of five and ono -half (5 -3- /W per cant per.. annum,
<br />All cash payments shall be made to the treasurer of,said Village, All assess.
<br />ments and installments thereof remaining unpaid at the expiration of said thi:
<br />days shall be certified by the clerk of this council to the county auditor, a
<br />provided by law, to be by him placed on the tax duplicate and collected as ot:
<br />taxes are eollealved.
<br />Section Ze This ordinance shall take effect and be in force from and
<br />after the earliest period allowed by law.
<br />Read the first time December , 1926.

<br />Thereupon the ordinance was read the second and third times and gut upon its
<br />passage and the affirmative vote thereon was as follows-.- Biddulph,, Bidwell
<br />Christman, Romp, Schindler, Stine.
<br />Ordinance passed December 7, 1926.
