ORDINANCE NO. 804 <br />By Mr. Crider <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS FROM DRIVING ON CLAGUE ROAD, <br />BETWEEN 14ASTICK ROAD AND THE NORTHERLY VILLAGE LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of North <br />Olmsted, State.of Ohio: <br />Section 1. For the purpose of this ordinance, <br />A Motor Vehicle is described as follows: <br />Every vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than muscular <br />Power or power collected' from overhead electric trolley wires, <br />except road rollers, traction engines, power shovels, power cranes <br />and other equipment used in construction work and not designed for <br />or employed in general highway transportation, hole digging machinery, <br />well drilling machinery, ditch digging machinery, farm machinery, <br />threshing machinery, hay baling machinery, and agricultural tractors <br />and machinery used in-the production'of horticultural,, floricultural,, <br />agricultural and - vegetable products. <br />A truck.is'defined as follows`: Every motor vehicle <br />except trailers and semi-trailers designed and used to carry property. <br />A through truck is a truck whose point of origination <br />is outside the Village of North Olmsted and whose point of destina- <br />tion is outside the Village of-North Olmsted and said truck is not <br />stopping to make deliveries or pick up material in the Village of <br />North Olmsted., <br />Section 2. From and after the effective date of this <br />ordinance, and when signs have been erected giving notice thereof, <br />no driver -of a Through Truck shall drive said truck on Clague <br />Road, between Mastick Road and the Northerly Village Limits, in the <br />Village of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation violating <br />the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be <br />fined not to exceed $50.00. <br />Section 4.
