Ordinance No. l r,ry <br />By Mr . <br />AN ORDI-NAN CE <br />TO AMEND THE ZONE MAP AND ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED BY CREATING AN ADDITIONAL RESIDENCE DISTRICT <br />TO BE ENOV0 AS AN "A -111 RESIDENCE DISTRICT AND BY CHANGING <br />FROM AN "A" RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO AN "A -1" RESIDENCE DISTRICT <br />THE PROPERTY HEREINAFTER MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED; AND BY <br />AMENDING SECTION .2 AND SECTION 6 OF SAID ZONING: ORDINANCE. <br />WHEREAS application ` has been made 'to amend the Zone <br />Map and Zoning Ordinance of the Village of North Olmsted by <br />establishing an additional Residence District to be known as <br />an "A -1" Residence District, which district is more particularly <br />described in a map prepared by the Village Engineer and on file <br />with the Clerk of the Village, embracing the property herein - <br />after more particularly described; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That Section 2 (Article I) and Section <br />6 (article II) of the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio, passed on the 18th day of March, 1941, <br />and amended on the 15th day of March, 1949, be and the same <br />are hereby amended to read as follows: <br />Section 2. DISTRICTS. The Village of North Olmsted <br />is hereby dividea IREo divide the districts hereinafter in <br />this section named, the location, boundaries and area <br />of which are and shall be as shown and depicted on the <br />Zone Map; <br />"A" Residence Districts <br />"A -111 Residence Districts <br />"C" Residence Districts <br />Retail or Local Business Districts. <br />Section 6.(a) "A" RESIDENCE DISTRICTS. in an "A" <br />Residence Distr c t 'Iaxfd may be used and buildings or <br />structures may be erected, altered or used, only for <br />the following: <br />Permitted Uses: <br />1. One - family dwelling. <br />2. Church or other place of worship. <br />3. School or college; including fraternity house, <br />sorority house or dormitory, for faculty or <br />students, if located on the same unit of <br />property :upon which the school or college <br />buildings are situated.-._ <br />4. Library. <br />5. Museum, <br />6. Park. (not including an amusement park <br />operated for profit). <br />7. Playground or athletic field. <br />8. Country Club. <br />9. Truck Garden, private greenhouse or nursery.' <br />(See section 8) <br />l0. Accessory uses, incident to any of the principal <br />uses above listed and not involving the conduct <br />of a business. (See Section 8). <br />(b) "A -1" RESIDENCE DISTRICTS. In an "A-l" <br />Residence District no land may be used and buildings or <br />
