Ordinance No. 790 <br />By Mr. <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />CREATING THE POSITION OF SERGEANT IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT <br />AND FIXING THE SALARIES AND BONDS OF SOME OF THE MEMBERS OF <br />THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AND FIRE DEPARTMENT. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 10 That from and after the effective date <br />Of this ordinance there shall be a Sergeant in the Police <br />Department, who shall be appointed by the Mayor subject to the <br />approval of the Council. The compensation of.the Sergeant <br />in the Police Department shall be Thirty -eight Hundred Dollars <br />(03800.00) per year and he shall give bond in the sum of $1000.00. <br />Section 2. That from and after the effective date <br />Of this ordinance.. regular members of the Police Department shall <br />be paid Thirty -two Hundred Dollars-($3200.00) for the first year <br />d Thirty -six two <br />Dollars ($3600.00) for the second year and <br />each year thereafter and they shall furnish bond in the sum of <br />1000':00. <br />Section 3. That from and after the effective date <br />Of this ordinance regular firemen shall receive Thirty -two <br />Hundred Dollars (43200.00) for the first year and Thirty -six <br />Hundred Dollars 03600.00) for the second year and each year <br />thereafter and they shall furnish bond in the sum of x$''1000.00. <br />Section 4. That from and after the effective date <br />of this ordinance, the Chief of the Fire Department shall re- <br />ceive Thirty -eight Hundred Dollars 03800.00) per year and he <br />shall give bond in the sum of $1000.00. <br />Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />Inconsistent herewith are hereby repealed. <br />Section 6.
