ORDINANCE No. 787 AN ORDINANCE TO MAIM ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, DURING THE FISCAL YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1949. By Mr. Baumgardner. Section 1. Whereas additional funds' in the amount of X1378.75 have come into the treasury of the Village of North Olmsted from the Gasoline Taxes, now therefore: Section 2. Be it Ordained by the Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio; That to provide for current expenses and other expenditures'of the said Village of North Olmsted, Ohio, during the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 1949 the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and appropriated as follows, viz: GASOLINE TAX FUND X1378.75 to Repairs by Contract. Section 3. And the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to draw his warrants on the Village Treasurer for payments from any Of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board or Officers author- ized by law to approve same, or an ordinance or Resolution of Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed by authority of and in accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be expended upon approval of two- thirds vote of Council for items of expense constituting a legal obligation against the Village and for purposes other than those covered by the other specific appropriations herein made. Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health, safety and welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the Several municipal departments of the Village of North Olmsted, and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage.
