ORDINANCE No. 787 <br />AN ORDINANCE TO MAIM ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS <br />FOR CURRENT EXPENSES AND OTHER EXPENDITURES OF THE <br />VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED, OHIO, DURING THE FISCAL <br />YEAR ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1949. <br />By Mr. Baumgardner. <br />Section 1. Whereas additional funds' in the amount of <br />X1378.75 have come into the treasury of the Village of North <br />Olmsted from the Gasoline Taxes, now therefore: <br />Section 2. Be it Ordained by the Council of the <br />Village of North Olmsted, Ohio; That to provide for current <br />expenses and other expenditures'of the said Village of North <br />Olmsted, Ohio, during the fiscal year ending Dec. 31, 1949 <br />the following sums be and they are hereby set aside and <br />appropriated as follows, viz: <br />GASOLINE TAX FUND <br />X1378.75 to Repairs by Contract. <br />Section 3. And the Village Clerk is hereby authorized to <br />draw his warrants on the Village Treasurer for payments from any <br />Of the foregoing appropriations upon receiving proper certificates <br />and vouchers therefore, approved by the Board or Officers author- <br />ized by law to approve same, or an ordinance or Resolution of <br />Council to make the expenditures; provided that no warrants shall <br />be drawn or paid for salaries or wages except to persons employed <br />by authority of and in accordance with law or Ordinance. Provided <br />further, that the appropriation for contingencies can only be <br />expended upon approval of two- thirds vote of Council for items of <br />expense constituting a legal obligation against the Village and <br />for purposes other than those covered by the other specific <br />appropriations herein made. <br />Section 4. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure, in that it relates to the public health, <br />safety and welfare, and to the usual daily operation of the <br />Several municipal departments of the Village of North Olmsted, <br />and shall take effect and be in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed Dec. 20, 1949. <br />ris - man —_Cler Dr. C.
