i <br />Q r <br />Ordinance No. / O <br />By Mr. a!'� <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />TO AMEND THE ZONE MAP AND ZCK IN G ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />NORTH OLMSTED BY CHANGING FROM A RESIDENCE DISTRICT TO A <br />RETAIL BUSINESS DISTRICT THE-LAND ON BOTH SIDES OF LORAIN . <br />ROAD, FROM THE EASTERLY VILLAGE LIMITS TO COLUMBIA ROAD, <br />THE DEPTH FOR BUSINESS PURPOSES TO BE THE REAR PROPERTY LINE <br />OF THE PARCELS FRONTING ON LORAIN ROAD OR THREE HUNDRED FEET <br />FROM THE CENTER LINE OF LORAIN ROAD, VaUCHEVER IS LESS. <br />WHEREAS application has been made to amend the <br />Zone Map and Zoning Ordinance of the Village of North Olmsted <br />for the purpose of re- zoning from a Residence District to a <br />Retail Business District the land on both sides of Lorain Road, <br />from the easterly Village limits to Columbia Road, which is <br />not now zoned for Retail or Local Business, the depth for <br />business purposes to be the rear property line of the parcels <br />fronting on Lorain Road or three hundred feet from the center <br />line of Lorain Road, whichever is less, and <br />WHEREAS the Planning Commission has considered <br />and approved said re- zoning, from Residence District to Retail <br />Business District, of all of the property not now zoned for <br />business on both sides of Lorain Road, between the easterly <br />Village limits and Columbia Road, to a depth of the rear property <br />line of property fronting on Lorain Road but in no case to be <br />more than three hundred feet deep from the center line of <br />Lorain Road; now, therefore, <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Zone Map and the Zoning <br />Ordinance of the Village of North Olmsted adopted on the 18th <br />day of March, 1941, and as amended on the 15th day of March, <br />1949, be and the same are hereby amended so as to establish <br />a Retail Business District, where not now established, of all <br />the property fronting on both sides of Lorain Road, from the <br />easterly Village Limits to Columbia Road; the depth for <br />business purposes shall be the rear property line of the parcels <br />fronting on Lorain Road or three hundred (300) feet from the <br />center line of Lorain Road, whichever is less. That the <br />1h91neer be and is hereby authorized and directed to change <br />the Zone Map accordingly. <br />Section 2.
