Ordinance No. [% <br />By Mr., <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS FROM DRIVING ON CLAGUE ROAD, <br />BETWMN MASTICK ROAD AND THE NORTHERLY VILLAGE LIMITS. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio: <br />Section 1. For the purpose of this ordinance, <br />A Motor Vehicle is described as follows: <br />Every vehicle propelled or drawn by power other than <br />muscular power or power collected from overhead electric <br />trolley wires; except road rollers, traction engines, <br />Power shovels, power cranes and other equipment used in <br />construction work and not designed for or employed in <br />general highway transportation, hole digging machinery, <br />well drilling machinery, ditch, digging machinery, farm <br />machinery, threshing machinery, hay baling machinery, <br />and agricultural tractors-and machinery used in the produc- <br />tion of horticultural,floricultural, agricultural and <br />vegetable products. <br />A Truck is defined as follows: Every motor <br />vehicle except trailers and semi - trailers designed and <br />used to carry property. <br />A Through Truck is a truck whose point of <br />origination is outside of the Village*of North Olmsted <br />and whose point'of destination is-outside the Village of <br />North Olmsted and said truck is not stopping to make <br />deliveries or pick up material in the Village of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Section 2. From and after the effective date <br />Of this ordinance; and ' vjhen signs have been erected giving <br />notice thereof, no ' driver' of a Through Truck shall drive <br />said truck on Clague Road, between Mastick Road and the <br />Northerly Village Limits, in the Village of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation <br />violating the provisions of this ordinance shall,'upon <br />conviction thereof, be fined not to exceed $50.00. <br />Section 4.',.
