Ordinance No. __7 <br />By Mr. <br />AN ORDINANCE <br />PROHIBITING THROUGH TRUCKS FROM DRIVING ON BUT12ERNUT RIDGE <br />ROAD, BETVM3N COLUMBIA ROAD AND LORAIN ROAD. <br />I <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the Village <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio-,' <br />Section 1. DEFINITIONS; For the purpose of <br />this ordinance, - <br />A truck is defined'as,follows; Every motor <br />vehicle 'except trailers -and .semi - trailers designed and used <br />to carry property. <br />Motor Vehicle. Every vehicle propelled or <br />drawn by power other than muscular power or power collected <br />from overhead electric trolley wires, except road rollers, <br />traction engines, _power shovels, power cranes and other <br />I used in construction work and not designed for or <br />employed in general highway transportation, hole digging <br />machinery,'well drilling machinery,'ditch digging machinery, <br />farm machinery, threshing machinery, hay baling machinery, <br />and agricultural tractors and machinery used in the produc <br />tion`of horticultural, floricultural, agricultural and <br />vegetable products. <br />A- Through Truck is a truck whose point of <br />origination is outside of the 'Village' of North Olmsted- <br />and whose point ' 'of ' destination ' is ' outside the Village of <br />North Olmsted and said- 'truck'is not 'stopping to make <br />deliveries or pick up material in the Village of North <br />Olmsted. <br />Section 2. From and after the effective date <br />Of this ordinance, anal' when signs have. been erected giving <br />notice thereof, no - driver of a Through Truck; shall drive <br />said truck on'Butternut Ridge Road, between Columbia Road <br />and Lorain Road, in the Village of North Olmsted. <br />Section 3. Any person, firm or corporation <br />Violating the provisions of this ordinance shall, "upon <br />conviction thereof, be fined not to exceed $50.00. <br />Section 4.
