Resolution No. 1038 <br />By Mr. <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT <br />17ITH THE BOARD OF EDUCATION OF FAIRVIEW VILLAGE.SCHOOL <br />DISTRICT FOR TRANSPORTATION OF SCHOOL CHILDREN. <br />WHEREAS the Village has ,a contract with the <br />Board of Education of Fairview Village School District, and <br />WHEREAS said contract is.about to expire, and <br />WHEREAS.this Village desires to enter into <br />a new contract with the Board of Education of Fairview <br />Village School District for the transportation of school <br />children, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT.RESOLVED by the <br />Council.of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1., That..the Mayor and Clerk be <br />and they are hereby authorized and directed'to enter into <br />the following contract .with . the Board of Education of Fair- <br />view Village School District: <br />"It is hereby agreed between the,parties hereto, <br />namely the Village of North Olmsted and the Board <br />of, Education of Fairview Village School District, <br />Fairview Village, Ohio, that said Village of North <br />Olmsted shall furnish sufficient and proper trans - <br />portation for the school children of Fairview <br />Village School District; that the rate of fare <br />for each child so transported shall be five cents <br />($0.05). <br />"The Village of North Olmsted agrees to provide <br />sufficient means for said•transportation. The <br />Board of Education of Fairview Village School <br />District agrees to pay the Village of North Olmsted <br />the rate of,fare herein stipulated. <br />"This contract shall be in full` force and effect <br />for the Pall term of 1939 and the Winter and Spring <br />Terms of 1940. <br />"All coaches used in the transportation of Fairview <br />School children shall be covered with public liability <br />insurance as required by law." <br />Section 2. This resolution shall take effect <br />and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed by <br />law. <br />Passed: September 5, 1939. ' <br />
