Resolution No. 1018 By Mr. i A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE POCAHONTAS OIL CORPORATION FOR THE FURNISHING OF GASOLINE. WHEREAS after due advertisement bids were received for the furnishing of gasoline for the use of busses of said Village, and WHEREAS this council desires to accept the bid of The Pocahontas Oil Corporation, (otherwise known as Blue Flash), NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: Section 1. That the bid of The Pocahontas Oil Corporation be and the same is hereby accepted and the Clerk and Mayor be and-are hereby "authorized and directed-to enter into'a contract with The Pocahontas Oil Corporation in accordance with the following bid: "May 2, 1939. Village of North Olmsted: Gentlemen: We are pleased- to' have."the' opportunity of bidding on your gasoline requirements for the coming twelve months. Our price will be .0311 per gallon less than our tank wagon price to consumers in effect at time of delivery "as posted in our warehouse at 1850 Coltman Rd., less .01 per gallon Federal tax, and subject to a maximum price limitation during the first three months of this contract of .1189 per gallon. During each succeeding three month period thereafter the maximum price shall be .0311 per gallon less than our consumer tank wagon price less .01 federal tax on the f irst day of each three month period. The maximum price so determined on the first day of each three month period shall remain in effect through the succeeding months until a new maximum price for the 'next- period is determined as outlined above. 'At no time shall we be obliged to deliver Hi Speed ,gasoline at a price less than our posted spot tank car price as posted at our plant. Sellerts service station price today is .18 per gallon and'our consumer's tank wagon price is .16 per gallon.. These prices include state and federal taxes. * * * The Pocahontas - Oil Corp. C. T.
