Resolution No. 1018 <br />By Mr. <br />i <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE POCAHONTAS OIL CORPORATION FOR <br />THE FURNISHING OF GASOLINE. <br />WHEREAS after due advertisement bids were received <br />for the furnishing of gasoline for the use of busses of <br />said Village, and <br />WHEREAS this council desires to accept the bid <br />of The Pocahontas Oil Corporation, (otherwise known as <br />Blue Flash), <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council <br />of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the bid of The Pocahontas <br />Oil Corporation be and the same is hereby accepted and <br />the Clerk and Mayor be and-are hereby "authorized and <br />directed-to enter into'a contract with The Pocahontas <br />Oil Corporation in accordance with the following bid: <br />"May 2, 1939. <br />Village of North Olmsted: <br />Gentlemen: <br />We are pleased- to' have."the' opportunity of <br />bidding on your gasoline requirements for the <br />coming twelve months. <br />Our price will be .0311 per gallon less than <br />our tank wagon price to consumers in effect at <br />time of delivery "as posted in our warehouse at <br />1850 Coltman Rd., less .01 per gallon Federal tax, <br />and subject to a maximum price limitation during <br />the first three months of this contract of .1189 <br />per gallon. During each succeeding three month <br />period thereafter the maximum price shall be <br />.0311 per gallon less than our consumer tank wagon <br />price less .01 federal tax on the f irst day of <br />each three month period. The maximum price so <br />determined on the first day of each three month <br />period shall remain in effect through the succeeding <br />months until a new maximum price for the 'next- <br />period is determined as outlined above. 'At no <br />time shall we be obliged to deliver Hi Speed ,gasoline <br />at a price less than our posted spot tank car price <br />as posted at our plant. <br />Sellerts service station price today is .18 <br />per gallon and'our consumer's tank wagon price is <br />.16 per gallon.. These prices include state and <br />federal taxes. * * * <br />The Pocahontas - Oil Corp. <br />C. T. Minshall, Vice President." <br />
