Section 8. On and after January 1, 19490 the above <br />named employees of the Municipal Bus Line shall each receive <br />the following vacation periods: <br />After the first year of service, one week's vacation <br />with pay; <br />After two years'of service, two weeks' vacation <br />each year with pay. <br />Provided, however, that the vacation periods of said <br />employees, during the year 1948, shall . remain the same as set <br />forth in Resolution No. 1471 passed by the Council of the Village <br />of North Olmsted on May 6,-1947, but beginning on January 1, <br />1949,, the vacation periods shall be as herein set forth. <br />Section 9. This resolution is hereby declared to be <br />an emergency measure, the emergency being that it is necessary <br />for the immediate preservation of public health, peace, safety <br />and welfare and for the daily operation of a municipal depait- <br />ment of the Village, that this resolution be passed at once <br />and take effect and be. in force from and after its passage. <br />Passed July,, 1948. <br />J <br />1 <br />—G er Mayor <br />■ <br />i, <br />—G er Mayor <br />■ <br />
