Resolution No. 1515 <br />By T,.r. . ✓� <br />A RESOLUTION <br />REQUESTING THE GENERAL MOTORS CORPORATION, TRUCK AND <br />COACH DIVISION,�,�I5IONSAIN 7HESCOACHESNNOI�F1•JONHORDER <br />HYDRAULIC TRANSa <br />FROM GENERAL ,MOTORS. <br />WHEREAS this Council has heretofore ordered <br />ten coaches for the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line, <br />two busses to be delivered in 1948, four in 1949 and <br />four in 1950, and <br />1 HEREAS the original order provided for said <br />busses to be equipped with gasoline motors, and <br />WHEREAS this Council believes it would be <br />to the best interests of the Village to have said <br />busses equipped with Diesel engines and hydraulic <br />transmissions; nova, therefore, <br />BE.IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That General Motors Corporation, <br />Truck and Coach Division, be and are hereby instructed <br />to install Diesel engines with hydraulic transmissions <br />in the busses purchased from General Motors under <br />Resolution No. 1475. <br />Section 2. The increase in cost for <br />Diesel engines and hydraulic transmissions over <br />the cost of gasoline motors will be from 011,655.56 <br />for each bus to 013,454.88 for each bus. <br />Section 3. The . jdayor and Clerk be and <br />they are hereby authorized to sign the necessary <br />contracts for the installation of the Diesel engines <br />with hydraulic transmissions in the busses heretofore <br />ordered from General Motors Corporation, Truck and <br />Coach Division. <br />Section 4.
