Resolution No. <br />By Mr. <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CLERK TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS <br />WITH THE VILLAGES OF BAY, FAIRVIEW,, OLMSTED . FALLS, VJESTLAKE <br />AND RIDGEVILLE,,THE TOWNSHIP.OF.OLMSTED AND THE CITY OF. <br />ROCKY. RIVER_ FOR EXCHANGE OF FIRE SERVICES., <br />WHEREAS emergencies arise whereby it is necessary <br />to call the services of the fire equipment of the Villages <br />of Bay, Fairview, Olmsted Falls, Westlake and Ridgeville, <br />the Township of Olmsted and the City of Rocky River; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio: . ' <br />Section l.. That the Mayor and Clerk be and they <br />are hereby authorized to enter into contracts with the <br />Villages of Bay, Fairview, Olmsted Falls, Westlake and <br />Ridgeville, the Township of Olmsted and the City of Rocky <br />River, Ohio, providing for the exchange of fire depart - <br />-ment services with said municipalities when emergencies <br />arise. <br />Section 2. Authority is hereby granted'to the <br />members of .the Fire Department, Police Department, Fire <br />Chief, Chief of Police, Mayor and Clerk to request the <br />services of the fire departments of the Villages of Bay, <br />Fairview, Olmsted Falls, Westlake and Ridgeville,,the <br />Township of Olmsted and the City of Rocky River when in <br />their judgment such services are required. <br />Section 3. The term of each of such contracts <br />shall begin.on the first day of April, 1948, and continue <br />for a period of three years. <br />Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure, the emergency being that it <br />is necessary for the immediate preservation of public <br />health, peace, safety, property and welfare that this <br />resolution be passed at once and shall take effect and <br />be in force from and after its passage, <br />t <br />Passed: March �� , 1948. <br />Mayor <br />
