Resolution No. 1465 <br />By Mr.,Bidwell <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE BID OF THE MARION RAPID TRANSIT COMPANY <br />FOR A G.M.C. 36 PASSENGER BUS. <br />WHEREAS after due advertisement for bids for a <br />new or used 36 passenger bus, only one bid was received, <br />to wit: <br />Marion Rapid Transit Company, Marion, Ohio, <br />One G. M. C. 36 passenger bus <br />(purchased new September 9, 1946), .$11,000.000 <br />and <br />WHEREAS this Council desires to accept said bid; <br />now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village of <br />North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the bid of Marion Rapid Transit <br />Company to furnish the Village with a G. M. C. 36 passenger <br />bus for the sum of $11..000.00 be and the same is hereby <br />accepted. <br />-Section 2. That the Mayor and Clerk be and they <br />are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Marion <br />Rapid Transit Company for the purchase of said bus in <br />accordance with said bid. <br />Section 3. This resolution shall take effect' <br />and be in force from and after the earliest period allowed <br />by law. <br />Passed August 12, 19470 <br />C e r ayor <br />
