E t <br />Resolution No. 148 <br />By 1dlr ._ <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE MJkYOR AND CLERK TO ENTER INTO CONTRACTS <br />WITH THE VILLAGE OF' OLMSTED_ FALLS, TOWNSHIP. OF OLMSTED., <br />THE ; VILLAGE OF RIDGEVILLE ANA THE CITY,OF ROCKY RIVER <br />FOR EXCHAME OF FM SERVICES. - <br />IMREAS emergencies arise whereby it is neces- <br />sary to call the services`of the fire equipment of the <br />Village of Olmsted Falls, the Township of Olmsted, the <br />Village of Ridgeville and the City of Rocky River; now, <br />therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village <br />of North Olmsted, Ohio:,. <br />Section 1. That the Mayor and Clerk b e and <br />they are hereby authorized to enter into contracts with <br />the Village of Olmsted Falls, the Township of Olmsted, <br />the Village of Ridgeville and the City of Rocky River <br />providing for the exchange of fire department services <br />With said municipalities when emergencies arise. <br />Section 2. Authority is hereby granted to <br />the members of the-police-Department., members of the <br />Fire Department, Chief of Police, Fire Chief, Mayor and <br />r Clerk .to request the services of the fire departments <br />of the Village of Olmsted Falls, Township of Olmsted, <br />Village ' of Ridgeville and City of Rocky River when in <br />their' judgment such services are required. <br />Section 3. The term of such contract for <br />exchange of fire services shall be for a period not to <br />exceed three years. <br />Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure, the emergency being that it-is <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of public health, <br />peace, safety, property and Welfare that this resolution <br />be passed at once and shall take effect-and be in force <br />from and after its passage. <br />Passed: July 15, 1947. <br />■ <br />
