B iddulph <br />A RESOLUTION <br />FIXING THE COMPENSATION AND VACATION PERIODS OF THE REGULAR <br />AND EXTRA BUS DRIVERS OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH OLMSTED <br />MUNICIPAL BUS LINE. II <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village <br />of North Olmsted, State of Ohio <br />1 <br />Section 1. That on and after the 16th'day of <br />April, 1947s the compensation of the regular and extra bus <br />drivers of the North Olmsted Municipal Bus Line shall be <br />01.33 per hour, payable semi- monthly. <br />Section 2. On and after the 16th day of April, <br />1947, any person employed as a bus driver, who has had no. <br />previous experience or not sufficient previous experience'. <br />shall serve as an apprentice for a period of one year -. During <br />the first three months of said apprentice period he shall <br />receive twenty cents per hour less than the hourly compensa- <br />tion paid to the regular bus drivers; during the second j <br />three months of said apprentice period.he shall receive <br />fifteen cents per hour less than the hourly compensation <br />paid to the regular bus drivers; during the next three months <br />of said apprentice period he shall receive ten cents per <br />hour less than the hourly compensation paid to the regular <br />• the months of said <br />bus drivers, and during the last three <br />apprentice period he shall receive five cents per hour less <br />than the hourly compensation paid to regular bus drivers. <br />Section 3. After the first year of service, <br />bus drivers shall receive one week's vacation with pay; <br />after two years of service, the bus drivers shall receive <br />two weeks' vacation each year with pay; after ten years <br />of service, the bus drivers shall receive three weeks' vacation <br />each year with pay; and after fifteen years of service, the <br />bus drivers shall receive four weeks' vacation each year with <br />pay* <br />Section 4. This resolution is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure, the emergency being that it is <br />necessary for the immediate preservation of public health, <br />peace, safety and welfare and for the daily operation of a <br />municipal department of the Village, that this resolution <br />be passed at once and take effect and be in force from and <br />after its 'passage. <br />Passed: April J$'.1947. <br />
