Resolution No. 1464 By Mr. Baumgardner A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTY FOR MUNICIPAL PURPOSES, TO: WIT, THE ERECTION OF A WATER RESERVOIR. WHEREAS a committee composed of certain citizens of the Village have objected to the construc- tion of a water tower on the property now owned by the Village of North Olmsted located at the southwest cor - ner of Dover Center Road and Lorain Road and have agreed to contribute to the purchase of property on Mill Road and Dover Road to be used for a water tower the sum of approximately $800.00, and VA EREAS this Council believes it would be to the best interests of the Village to purchase said property at the corner of Mill Road and Dover Center Road, more specifically hereinafter described, and accept the offer of the committee to pay a part of the purchase price, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Village ..of North, Olmsted, State of Ohio, three- fourths of all members elected thereto cancurring: Section 1. That the Mayor and Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to purchase, for municipal purposes, to wit, the erection of a water reservoir,.the following described property, to wit: Parcel No. 1: . Situated in the Village of -North Olmsted, County of Cuyahoga and State of ''Ohio, and known as being part of Original Olmsted Township Lot No. 21, Tract 6, and further described as follows; Beginning in the center line of Dover Center Road at a point which bears South 00 141 00" Wiest 200.00 feet from the Northeasterly corner of-said Original Lot No. 21; thence South 00 141 00" West along said center line of Dover Center Road, 100.00 feet to a point, said point bears North 00 14t 00" East 138.66 feet from the inter - section of the center line of Mill Road with said center line of Dover Center Road; thence South 880 501 30" West parallel with the Northerly .line of said Original Olmsted Township, Tract 6, 225.00 feet to a point; thence North 00 14t 0011 East 100.00 feet to a point; thence North 880 501 30" East, 225.00 feet to a point in said center line: of `.Dover ' C-enter Road and the place_, of beginning, and containing 0.516 Acres of land, be . the same more or less, but subject to all legal highwayo, according to a survey by John R.
