■ <br />Vesolution No. 1439 <br />By Mr. <br />A RESOLUTION <br />AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PIPE FOR A WATER LINE <br />ON ESTHER AVENUE. <br />WHEREAS due to an emergency it was neces- <br />sary to purchase pipe direct, and <br />WHEREAS the pipe was purchased from <br />James B. Clow, and <br />WHEREAS estimates were received from <br />James B. Clow and the U. S. Pipe Company under OPA <br />ceiling prices, and <br />WHEREAS the cost of the pipe was $600.00, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the <br />Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the Clerk be and is here- <br />by authorized and directed to pay to James B. Clow <br />the sum of $600.00 for the pipe for the construction <br />.of a water main on Esther Avenue. <br />Section 2. This resolution shall take <br />effect and be in force from and after the earliest <br />period allowed.by law. <br />Passed; November 190 1946. <br />
