Resolution No. 1437 <br />By Mr. <br />A RESOLUTION <br />ACCEPTING THE BID OF COOPER CONSTRUCTION COMPANY <br />FOR THE FURNISHING OF THE LABOR AND MATERIAL FOR <br />CONSTRUCTING WATER MAIN ON ESTHER AVENUE 9 FROM <br />CLAGUE ROAD TO THE EASTERLY LINE OF SUBLOT 40 ON <br />SAID STREET. <br />WHEREAS after due advertisement three <br />bids were received for the furnishing of labor and <br />material for constructing a water main on Esther <br />Avenue, from Clague Road to the Easterly line of <br />Sublot 40 on said street: <br />George Gantose 1393.30 <br />D. M. Sylvester & <br />P. D. DePolo 1811.00 <br />Cooper,Construction Co. 1215.40 <br />and , <br />WHEREAS this Council desires to accept <br />the bid of Cooper Construction Company, it being <br />the lowest and best bid, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the <br />Council of the Village of North Olmsted, Ohio: <br />Section 1. That the bid of Cooper Construc- <br />tion Company for the furnishing of labor and material <br />for constructing water main on Esther Avenue, from <br />Clague Road to the Easterly line of Sublot 40 on said <br />street, be and the same is hereby accepted. <br />Section 2. The Clerk be and he is hereby <br />authorized and directed to return the checks to the <br />unsuccessful bidders. <br />Section 3. The Mayor and Clerk be and they <br />are hereby authorized to enter into a contract with Cooper <br />Construction Company for the furnishing of the labor <br />and material for the construction of water main on <br />Esther Avenue, from Clague Road to the Easterly line of <br />Sublot 40 on said street, in accordance with the bid <br />of said company, upon the furnishing of proper bond by <br />the Cooper Construction Company. <br />Section 4.
