<br />Present were Dr. C. B. Lewis, T:iayor, E. Baumgardner,
<br />R. Biddulph, H. K. Bidwell, F. Crider, Wm. H. Kramer, Dan Romp.
<br />The minutes of Dec. 6, 1949 were read and approved.
<br />Mr. Sasso requested change of Zoning from Residence to retail
<br />business, his property 324 feet on the Southwest corner of
<br />Lorain and Stearns Roads. Moved and seconded that the matter
<br />be referred to the Planning Coinmission. "Yeas" Baumgardner,
<br />Biddulph, Bidwell, Crider, Kramer, Romp.
<br />Mr. Geissler of Vr'alters Road inquired about the hazards of the
<br />33000 volt line on Walters Road.
<br />M10vEd and seconded that the bonds of E. M. Christman as Clerk,
<br />and 17m. H. Cook as Building Inspector, each in the amount of
<br />yp1000.00 by the AmericAn Surety Co., of New York be approved.

<br />Resolution #1591 was introduced by Mr. Baumgardner. A Resolution
<br />transferring funds. tlioved and seconded that the statutory rule
<br />be suspended and the res"lution be read immediately the second
<br />and thir-d times and put on its passage. The affirmative vote
<br />on said motion was as follovrs., Baumgardner, Biddulph, Bidwell,
<br />Crider, Kramer, Romp. Thereupon the resolution was read the
<br />second and third times and put upon its passa&e and the affirma-
<br />tive vote thereon was as follows., Baumgardner, Biddulph, Bidviell,
<br />Crider, Kramer, Romp.
<br />4rdinance #787 was introduced by 14r. Crider. An Ordinance
<br />appropriatinn additional Revenue. 1,11oved and seconded that the
<br />statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read immediately
<br />the second and third times and put on its passage. The affirma-
<br />tive vote on said motion vras as follows., Baumgardner, Biddulph,
<br />Bidwell, Crider, Kramer, Romp. Thereupon the Ordinance was read
<br />the second and third times and pVit upon its passage and the
<br />affirmative vote thereon was as followe., Baumgardner, Biddulph,
<br />Bidvrell, Crider, Kramer, Romp.
<br />Resolution #1591 was introduced by 1;2r. haumoardner. A Resolution
<br />transferri_ng appropriations. Moved and seconded that the above
<br />Resolution be adopted as reado t'Yeas" Baumgardner, Biddulph,
<br />Bidwell, Crider, Kramer, Romp.
<br />Communication from A1 Porter County Dieineer atated that they
<br />would have preferred leaving Root Road, Gessner Road a.n.d Kennedy
<br />Ridge out of the consent Ordinance for snow removal. However
<br />if possible they will take care of these roads.
<br />P1loved by lAr. Kramer seconded by 1,1r. Rompthat whereas this Council
<br />contemplates issuine notes in anticipation of the levy of special
<br />assessments and in anticipation of the issuing of bonds in ,
<br />anticipation of the collection of special assessr,lents for the
<br />improvement of Silverdale Road, from Lorain Road to the north
<br />line of sublot #29, by constructing therein a water line in
<br />accordance with the plans and specifications on file in the
<br />ofi'ice of the Village Engineer and Vl11age Clerk, and whereas
<br />the fiscal Officer of the Village is required to certify to
<br />this Council his estimated life of the property, asset or
<br />improvement proposed to be acquired or constructed from the
<br />proceeds of said notes and bonds and to certify to this
<br />Council the maximum maturity os such notes and bonds as
<br />calculated in accordance with the provisions of the General -
<br />Code of the State of Ohio, and 'J4nereas the Village Clerk is
<br />the fiscal Officer; Novr Therefore, the Village Clerk is hereby
<br />requested to certify to this Council his conclusions as to the
<br />estimated life of said ?mprovements and the maximum maturit?r of
