JANUARY 9, 1951, <br />MTNUTES OF AN ADJOURNED NIEETING OF THE COUNCIL OF TM VILLAGE OF <br />NOFTH OLNISTED, OHIO <br />Present were Clarencs J. Oviatt, Mayor, E. Baumgardner, Fred Hatton, Wm. H. <br />Krar.ier, Dr. C. B. Lewis, R. Paddock, B. F. Scott. <br />The Mayor appointed Charles W. Riley as Civilian Defense Directar, for the <br />balance of 1951. <br />Resolution #1706 k*as introduced bJ Mr. Baumoardner. A Resolution approving the <br />appointment' of CharZes W. Riley as Civil,fan Defense Directorj, as of Jansary 9} <br />' 1951, for the balance of 1951. It was moved and seconded that the above Reso- lution be adopted as read. IfYeas" Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Lewis, Paddock, <br />Scotto <br />Ordinance #859 was introduced by Dr. Lewis. An Ordinance to malse appropriations <br />for current expenses and other expenditures of the Vi113gP of North Ol.msted, <br />Ohio during the fiscal year endin; December 31, 1951. It was moved and seconded <br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read immediately the <br />second and th:rd times and put on its passada. The affirmative vote on said <br />motion was as follows: Bawn,;ardner, Hatton, Kramer, LeViis, Paddock, Scotto <br />Thereupon the Ordinance was read the second and thircl times and put upon its <br />passage, and the affirr.iative vote thereon was as follows: fiaumgardner, Hatton, . <br />Kram.er, Lewis, Paddock, Scotto <br />- Ordinanca #$60 ivas introduced by Ms. Kramer. An Ordinance fixinb the salaries <br />? and bonds of inerabers of the Police Department and Fire Department, and repealing <br />{ Ordinance #790 passed December 20, 1949. It was moved and seconded that the <br />? statutory rule be suspended a.nd the Ordinance be read imr.:ediately the second and <br />? third times and ut on its <br />p passage.
