Scott was absent. <br />Iiinutes of October 3, 1950 and :October.i6, ^1950 ,i4pre approved as read. <br />The trustees of the Sportsmen!s Club were present and it was agreed to <br />prohibit hunting in rdorth 0lmsted, south of Lorain Road from the east <br />Village line to McKenzie Hoad, and nortri of Lorain hoad from the east <br />Village line to Columbia lioad. The Sportsmenl.s Club is to submit a list <br />of deputies by next Council Meetirg. <br />The problem of parking on Lorain Road was discussed. All parking is to <br />be parallel with the curb and is to be restricted to one hour on all of <br />Lorain Road. Signs are to be posted. " A motion wasmade and seconded to have the E ngineer prepare plans for a <br />curb in front of the BusYinell' Bui.lding. "Yeas" Baumgardrier, Hatton, Kramer, <br />Lewis, Paddock. <br />Ordinance #fi50 was introduced by Mr. Hatton. 'An Orc9inance regulating parldng <br />on Lorain Road in the'Village of rJorth Olmsted. It was mpved and seconded <br />that the statutory rule be suspended and the Ordinance be read immediately <br />the second and third times and put on its passage. Baungardner, Chairman of Transportation, reported that 480,000 new Globe <br />transfers had been purchased to supplant the A2cDonald 5ystem. Globe will fur- <br />nish holders for the busses. School tickets will be used instead of chips. <br />Will need two' newr drivers by October 31st to replace two going into Service. <br />The Transportation Committee recommended that the kitchen in the Town Ha11 <br />downstairs be used as Drivers' quarters. Mr. Hatton reported that the Planning Conanission met on October lOth and <br />considered Loser's request that their property havi.ng a frontage of 4701 on <br />Dover Center koad be rezoned for Retaa.l Business, The Planning Conmaission. <br />did not approve the rezoning of this property. <br />It was moved and seconded that the recoxunendation of the Nlannin? Comrrission <br />be accepted. "Yeastt Baumgardner, Hatton, Kramer, Letivi.s,' Paddock.' <br />The 11ayor advised that services for United Tuations Day on October 24th, would <br />be held at the High School -- that Hev. Thayer would be the Speaker -- Father <br />Cullitan ti-jould have the opening prayer and Rev. lludley the closing prayer.
